PG Down Under 2026

Financial Disclosure

PG Down Under 2026 is financially supported by our generous sponsors and it is organised by PostgreSQL Down Under Inc. (PGDU), a non for profit PostgreSQL organisation. Any proceeds from the conference belongs to PGDU and the funds will be used to support the growth of the PostgreSQL community in Australia & New Zealand.

No PGDU and PG Down Under staff receives any payment for their work.

Code of Conduct

Conference Policies

PG Down Under 2026 is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone.

We do not tolerate harassment of PG Down Under 2026 participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including exhibition booths, talks and social events around PG Down Under 2026. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the PG Down Under 2026 conference organisers.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, displaying sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the PG Down Under 2026 conference organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including ejection from the conference with no refund. If you feel that you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a PostgreSQL Down Under Inc. Member immediately.

PG Down Under 2026 volunteers will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or the police, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference.

Attendees of the event are welcome to contact the PostgreSQL Community Code of Conduct Committee if they prefer an outside organisation, be the complaint about another attendee or about a staff or conference organizer, in which case the conference organizers and PG Down Under 2026 will commit to assisting the PostgreSQL CoC committee to the best of their abilities.
